This course is led by Ellen Pope, OTD, OTR/L, a seasoned occupational therapist with decades of university teaching experience and pediatric practice and, Brittney Huntington, OTD, OTR/L, RN, BSN, who has provided hospital and home based pediatric nursing as well as OT in early intervention and school based practice.
This course is designed to equip you with the tools and strategies to confidently support young children and their families in achieving better sleep.

Dr. Ellen M. Pope, OTD/OTR, is an occupational therapist with over 40 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, including those with special needs. She holds a clinical doctorate in Occupational Therapy and is a Family Sleep Institute Certified Sleep Coach. A former clinical assistant professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Ellen has been a trusted educator in the field.
Brittney Huntington, OTD, OTR/L, RN, BSN is an occupational therapist and registered nurse specializing in pediatric sleep. She earned her Doctor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas and is a certified pediatric sleep consultant through the Family Sleep Institute (FSI).
With clinical experience spanning hospital- and home-based pediatric nursing, Early Intervention, and school-based occupational therapy settings, Brittney brings a comprehensive, evidence-based perspective to sleep support. Her doctoral capstone focused on sleep in early childhood, where she provided parent coaching and intervention within Early Intervention services.She currently practices in school-based occupational therapy and runs her private practice, Equipped for Sleep, supporting families in addressing sleep challenges. Brittney is passionate about empowering caregivers and professionals with practical, OT-informed strategies to improve sleep and daily functioning.

Yes! Upon completing all assignments and actively participating in all three 2-hour Zoom sessions, you will receive an official Certificate of Completion.
